If you are considering using a home equity line of credit to buy an investment property or a rental property than you need to watch this!
Using a HELOC to buy that rental property is a great idea and can help supercharge your real estate investing journey! BUT there are some pitfalls you need to beware of.
It is very unlikely that HELOC will have a long term fixed rate on the money that you borrow, so it is imperative that if you are using a HELOC to buy an investment property that you have an appropriate exit plan to convert back to fixed rate debt!
