Zabbix 5.0 is released, but many users are a bit afraid of the Upgrade procedure. Upgrade to other versions was more or less the same, but 5.0 is a bit more special because upped requirements as well as minimal supported PHP 7.2 which as an example is not available in the Official RHEL7 repo. Missing float64 upgrade and wrong collation in your database can also cause additional questions. So let's go through all the upgrade process to prepare for production upgrade as much as possible.
