Previously, we compared the stock 706/862 heads to the 799/243 heads on a cammed 5.3L test motor. There was much uproar among 799/243 head enthusiasts. Thanks to smaller factory chambers, the 706 heads had more compression. The added compression helped the stock 706 heads make more power on the small-bore 5.3L, but would that continue on the larger 6.0L?
