Scandinavia is a subregion of Northern Europe. Generally, it includes Sweden, Norway and
Denmark. Because these countries have similar historical, cultural and linguistic relations.
Iceland and the Faroe Islands are sometimes also included in Scandinavia due to close
ethnic and linguistic ties. But, Finland is not considered a part of Scandinavia.
