I have shot 5 short films to date and this tutorial was made nearly ten years ago. Still has lots of useful and relevant info for filmmakers today.
At the time of making this, I had three short films in post-production. I'm hiring a 98-year-old picture house in Leeds for the event. The great thing is they have a 2K cinema projector working from a Dolby DCP Server.
So, how do you turn a short film into a Digital Cinema Package? This video blog goes into great detail and takes you through the whole process. The software I'm using is OpenDCP.

Hi, I'm Danny Lacey and I started making short films back in 2009 when I picked up a camera for the first time.
What you are watching on my YouTube channel is my Film School. I made a pledge to share everything I was learning as a filmmaker; including scriptwriting, producing directing, editing and so much more.
I'm not going to lie - I want to be a successful film director and I'm as ambitious now as I've ever been. I'm working my way towards that first feature film project and I'll be sharing that journey right here.
