X = 1-1+1-1+1-1+1............
1-X = 1-1+1-1+1-1.......
1-X = X
2X = 1
X = 1/2

Y = +1-2+3-5+6..........

2Y = 1-1+1-1+1-1......
2Y =X
Y = X/2 = 1/4
