Ryzen 3 also seems really nice. Maybe I should make a video on those as well? I'm no PC enthusiast but i3 vs ryzen 3 seems super competitive!

This is the PC Build. An accumulation of component research, a machine crafted with video editing and pc gaming in mind. You’ve seen the process. So Now, a change of pace. Let’s talk about parts.

The case is the beautiful S340 case. Some say it looks too minimalistic but that’s all personal preference. The design of the case is simple and doesn’t draw too much attention to it except for the window, a nice tempered glass. People tend to add RGB lights into this case like crazy. But I’ll think about that later I think.

We also have an ASRock AB350M PRO4 B350. Gotta stay consistent with that Oreo color scheme too as this one comes is decked out in black and white. Alongside it sits an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor. Honestly the best processor for video editing in my price range right now. 6 Cores 12 threads? This thing rips through Davinci Resolve color grading like a savage animal.

The power supply unit is a corsair CX450M a 450-watt budget semi-modular power supply. The cables are all black which means no mustard cables here. As well as 8 gigabytes of the stealthy black Hyperx Fury Ram

The build also includes a Samsung EVO 750 SSD which is no longer being sold and an Asus GTX 1060 3GB version.

Originally, I was using a build that had a i3-6100 in it just to test the waters of building a PC. It was my first one ever after all. But I quickly found that while it was great for gaming at 1080p. It struggled to video edit well at 1080p having obnoxious export times.

While I just video edit and publish videos on YouTube just for fun, it shouldn’t have to be a painful experience. That’s where that Ryzen 5 1600 comes in. It made my life so much easier. Export times are 2 to 2.5 times faster than the i3 6100.

Now let’s talk a little bit about price. Here’s a list of every component. I’ve bought for this build. A lot of the parts I’ve purchased over time when they were at their lowest. Netting me a grand total of roughly $650. If you were to buy all the components at today’s prices with no amazing Micro Center discount it’d translate to $870 dollars due an increase in price to SSDs, RAM and also bitcoin mining increasing graphics card prices, . If you want further information on the parts themselves, I’ll have them linked in the description below.

Overall I’m very satisfied with the end result. It ended up being a beast of a computer and I’ve really enjoyed using it. This pc may not be the best pc out there but it’s perfect for my needs. Isn’t that what custom building is all about?

I hope you guys loved the video. It’s a different style of editing than what I usually do and it was fun. Don’t forget to like the video, comment, and well. Subscribe. I’ll see you guys next time.
