Recording and editing acoustic guitar in Cubase in my home studio (S1 E7)
This video shows how I record the acoustic guitar of our singer/guitar player for a new song production in Cubase. It dives into the preparations of setting up the microphone, pre-amp, compressor and Cubase project, followed by the arrival and setup of the artist. I then show you what we recorded and how I processed the recording into a track that is ready for mixing.
This video is the seventh episode in a series that details all the steps that I go through in my home studio to produce a new song for my band Awash from start to finish. The videos in this series are released when the various steps actually happen, so they are stretched out over at least half a year or so.
