How I Made My Dream Coffee Table From Scratch
I created a coffee table and I think this is the best my skill level can provide right now.
The table is made out of 2 different wood types one is oak and the insert is made out of European walnut. The legs were a real challenge considering the amount of time I invested to get them right. And still I made a pretty silly mistake by adding the round overs before I made the center lap joint in the legs.
Luckily this is a very invisible area and nobody is going to crawl down and see it.
in this video you gonna see some real craftsmanship. Chiseling by hand, routing with templates sawing by hand and even planeing with a hand plane.
