Abstract: Robot Operating System (ROS) is a collection of free and open-source software packages used by a large and growing developer community to build, simulate, and test robotic systems. While ROS is generally thought of as a high-level API for robot construction there is now a growing community of developers bringing ROS compatibility to embedded systems.
