These monsters have crazy ambush and assassin potential in your D&D game. They will almost always attack a party of adventures with tricks and traps before they are even aware of the ettercap. Spiders make a natural ally in encounter using ettercaps. In addition to all of that we've come up with some fun ways to use this monster as an NPC. We've got both neutral and hostile version towards the players characters. Having monsters that your players can role-play with just easily as have a combat with makes for a much better game and a richer campaign world.
