June Teachings with Deborah Tacan
Reflecting on June, Indigenous History Month, Deborah Tacan from the Brandon Friendship Centre teaches about the month of strawberries. Strawberry Medicine, she explains, has long held a sacred role in First Nations’ ceremonies and lives. “If we gather and we start talking about the berry, those teachings will come alive again,” she reminds viewers.
