PMI is leading the movement towards greater project success with a new report: Maximizing Project Success: Elevating the Impact of the Project Profession. Elevating the impact on our world.

This report explores how success in project management is evolving beyond traditional metrics. By focusing on people, innovation, and long-term value, the report highlights strategies to deliver meaningful impact in a dynamic and complex world, and expands project success to include value, outcomes, and global impact—elevating the profession and driving sustainable growth.

Our research reveals four implications for how project professionals should think about, and execute, their work, and how they might manage their own project success:

(1) Manage perceptions. How can you ensure stakeholders view your project as successful—beyond the numbers?

(2) Own project success. Are you prepared to take full accountability for delivering value, not just meeting requirements?

(3) Reassess project parameters. How do you adapt your plans to shifting priorities and dynamic environments?

(4) Expand perspective. What is your project's broader impact, and how can it contribute to a better world?
