Greetings, everyone! It's Andy Gesner here at HIP Video Promo. A lot of members of Indie Nation are looking for things to do to increase exposure during this difficult time. We pride ourselves on being a promo company where all the employees are fighting hard every day, although the entire crew is currently working remotely. That includes Rob, Mike, Molly, Kevin,, Dom, and Melissa: we're all here to help.

A lot of clients are asking about Spotify and its user-curated playlists. Ladies and gentlemen, we do indeed have a "captive audience." Everybody is going to their screens. So what are folks doing for music? They're going to Spotify. The playlist curators that we're friends with are at their desks, looking for content to include in their playlists.

One thing we're noticing is that a lot of these playlisters have had a definite decrease in content being presented to them. Here at HIP Video Promo, we are very selective about the Spotify clients we bring on board. Despite this, we do encourage you to reach out - all you have to do is give me a call or shoot me an email.

Another group of playlist curators we've become friendly with is the YouTube playlist curators. What's great about YouTube playlists is that if you end up on a playlist, you are guaranteed genuine, authentic views. Why is this? It's because these YouTube playlist curators are very selective about the visual content that they include on their playlists. It's almost like when I was younger, and I would make a cassette tape for a potential significant other. They take great care and pride in these playlists. So though there is a possibility that some playlisters will decide that you don't fit their filter or they politely pass, we will work hard to secure your YouTube video the maximum amount of playlists possible and do so in a timely fashion.
