Hello there!
The Octatrack is my "gift that keeps on giving": few days ago I found out that LFO can randomize midi notes keeping them quantized to a scale. This opens up a lot of creative possibilities that I will talk about in the video.
While this might not be a full "generative" process, is a great compromise.
You have great control over the randomization and you can use some techniques to add variation to your sequences.
I am using the Vermona Perfourmer and the Novation Peak for al the sounds, and the Playdifferently Model1 for mixing and adding effects (Strymon Nightsky and Hologram Electronics Microcosm).
