I assume that the English language is a weird and fantastic beast. It varies continuously, the written form is not phonetic(can not be pronounced), it contains words from many other languages, and there are abundant words with the same meanings(homo words).
English is a West Germanic language with Scottish, Scandinavian(Swedish), Old Norman, French, Latin, Greek, Old Norse, Caribbean, and Indian, Australian, African influences. English has no set pronunciation, dialect, or universal spelling, making it an incredibly rich, diverse, and adjustable language.
English is believed to have the largest number of words of any language. Not only does that make it difficult to understand, but trying to learn a language that has one of the biggest and most confusing vocabularies there is can pose a huge problem when it comes to remembering enough English words to be able to express yourself well enough.
possibly the most wonderful aspect of English is the ease with which we can pledge. There numberless English swear words, and words that may be used in polite conversation can become swear words in other contexts. English has no cases, no gender, no word agreement, and arguably has a simple grammar system.
Despite these difficulties, English is actually the easiest language in the world to learn.
