Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Server in Discord Mobile

Step 1: Open the Discord App

Unlock your phone and open the Discord app.
Ensure that you’re logged into your account before proceeding.

Step 2: Tap the Plus Icon on the Left Side

On the left sidebar, you’ll see a list of servers you are already a part of.
To create a new one, tap on the plus icon on the left side of the screen.

Step 3: Tap Create My Own

Discord will give you two options:
Create My Own – To build a new server from scratch
Join a Server – If you already have an invite link to an existing server

Tap Create My Own to set up a new server.

Step 4: Choose For a Club or Community

Discord will now ask you whether the server is:
For Me and My Friends – A casual server for personal use
For a Club or Community – Ideal for public or larger groups where you plan to manage a community

Tap on For a Club or Community to create a more organized server with community features.

Step 5: Upload Your Server’s Profile Picture

Now, it’s time to add a custom profile picture for your server.
Tap on the profile picture icon.
This will open your phone’s gallery.
Select an image from your phone, adjust it if needed, and then tap Save.

Step 6: Enter Your Server Name

By default, Discord will suggest a server name, but you can change it.
Tap on the text box and enter a custom name for your server.

Example names:
Gaming Hub
Tech Wizards
Anime Fan Club

Once done, move to the next step.

Step 7: Tap Create Server

Once you have uploaded the profile picture and entered your server name, tap on Create Server.
Congratulations! Your Discord server is now created!

Step 8: Share Your Server Link with Friends

Now that your server is set up, you’ll want to invite people to join your community. Follow these steps:

Tap on Share Link.
Choose WhatsApp Business or any other app where you want to send the invite.
Select a contact or a WhatsApp group.
Tap Send to share the invite link.

Now, your friends or team members can tap on the link and join your server instantly.
