Disney Doesn't Understand Stormtroopers...
Stormtroopers are some of the most iconic bad guys in movie history. However, they’re also famously awful at their jobs. The stereotype that Stormtroopers are incompetent goes back to way before Disney bought Lucasfilm, but it was actually George Lucas’s original intention that the Stormtroopers were meant to be menacing. Now, one of the reasons that I really enjoyed the final episode of the Mandalorian season 2 was because the Dark Troopers were so terrifying and actually posed a threat to our main characters. However, Stormtroopers are just not scary anymore. In Kenobi, the Mandalorian, and the sequel Trilogy, we just know that the main characters will easily defeat a whole platoon of them with little effort. I'm really hoping that Andor can portray the Stormtroopers as the terrifying servants of Vader, and make the Empire great again. However, I am a bit worried about Andor and you can find out why in this video.
