How to Wire a Relay for Off Road Lights

Today we are working on wiring some led lights to the switch box. Nilight have given me some lights quite sometime ago and I used them on the Budget overland Project. People always have questions on wiring projects the deal with 12v power is that you have a positive and negative and they are not to be crossed. in the diagram for the wiring of the led lights you can see that in the switch you have a ground, a positive from the battery and a white wire that goes back to the relay. the only wire out of the equation that we need to worry about is the white wire. we have power coming from the master switch to the switch panel. another wire is connected from the fuse panel then goes to the switch. The white wire is connected to the other terminal on the switch. When the switch is then flipped it carries the current though the white wire that trips the relay and allows current to flow to the lights and boom they light up.
