Hey,, I'm Lucas, and today I'm excited to share a MIDI pack I created to help producers and songwriters quickly come up with chord progressions for your songs.
Before we dive in, let me just say that practicing and recording live instruments can bring a unique touch to your music. But, if you're short on time or just want to jump into music-making, buying the pack directly supports my channel so I can create more of them for you!
The initial inspiration for this actually came from the software Cubase, which lets you enter MIDI chords in the editor. I thought it would be clever to come up with a way to simulate this in Ableton with some of my own twists.
The pack includes MIDI chords in every inversion and all twelve keys, all performed by a real person without quantization or drawn-in notes. You can use any piano, keyboard, or synth sounds you want.
I should say that, I did get a bit better at keys from doing this and I would recommend to any producers and songwriters looking to improve their keyboard skills and music theory to work on something like this!
