The DJI Spark in 2020 | TEC Tuesday
DJI released the DJI Spark in 2017 and it quickly gained popularity as the best beginner camera drone on the market. Three years later, in 2020, the Spark is discontinued by DJI and replaced by their new model of small drone, the DJI Mavic Mini.
Now in 2020, is there a reason to buy the spark? Well... no. not really.
The DJI Mavic Mini does basically everything better than the DJI Spark, it has a higher resolution camera, double the fly time/ battery life, double the transmission range, special pre-programed cinematic drone movements, and it all comes in at the same price as the less-impressive Spark.
Pretty easy decision of which to buy in my opinion. Unless you're really set on the gesture mode that you'll never use and doesn't work half the time... in that case... you do you man.... you do you.
