How to Switch Columns in Google Docs
This video shows you how to switch columns in Google Docs. You click on the top of the column you wish to switch. The cursor will change into a hand, offering you dragging functionality. Hope the mouse down and drag the column to the left to switch it with another column. Essentially you can move columns around this way.
Note: If you used the native google docs column functionality, you can not switch columns this way.
