"THE LAST TABOO" is a gripping and heart-warming story of six people with various physical disabilities and an able-bodied partner who was in a relationship with one of them and their experiences with sex. It reveals how universally complex human sexuality is overall by shining a light on how people with physical impairments navigate their sexuality.
The people each have their own unique situation in terms of gender, race, sexual orientation, and physical capability. They're united in their shared humanity in such a way that invites the viewer to look inward about how we're all fighting to overcome perceived shortcomings in our own way.
As this documentary film points out, many people have a misconception of disabled people, and their need for this. After watching this film, you will get a greater understanding of the needs and wants of someone disabled. You will hear their experiences, their inner struggles and their yearning to connect with another human being.
No matter how we look to others, we all need love, human interaction and to be seen as being perfect just how we are. This film does a phenomenal job shinning light on that. Directed by Alexander Freeman, this is quite an enlightening and brave documentary. Candid and moving. We learned so much! PLEASE SHARE, LIKE AND COMMENT.
